TIIP FEES
OVERVIEW
The Tank Installers’ Indemnification Program (TIIP) is funded in part by fees. Certified tank-handling companies are subject to two types of fees.
Company fee: Certified tank-handling companies are subject to an annual company fee of $1,000.
Activity fees: Certified tank-handling companies are subject to activity fees for work performed on regulated underground storage tanks and opted-in nonregulated underground heating oil tanks. The activity fees are $50.00 per installation, $50.00 per major modification, and $15.00 per removal.

Credit card and e-check payments are preferred and are immediately applied to your account. They can be made via the USTIF website (https://ustif.pa.gov/). Paper checks are discouraged because mailing errors or delays can lead to untimely payments, which may cause a gap in USTIF participation.
